Formed in Fort Collins, Colorado, November 2005, Laughing Gas Treatment started with Founder Lee Rissin originally from New York/New Jersey on guitar/vocals and Paul Vogl (Late Night Paulie) originally from the Chicago area on lead guitars. Individual Bios: LEE RISSIN--lets see I grew up in the Jersey suburbs and my biggest musical influence in my early teens would have to be Led Zeppelin and Jimi Hendrix. I got my first guitar at age 13 and had an old tube amp given as a gift so needless to say I rarely left my parents basement As the years went on my influences expanded quite a bit from Pink Floyd to all great classic rock to progressive hard rock like Rush and Yes to Janes Addiction, Ted Nugent AC/DC, even Metallica to Frank Zappa to the Grateful Dead and in recent years Widespread Panic, Galactic, etc.---I am self taught and I am very pleased with the outcome---It wasn't untill a few years ago I really started writing and playing original music with and without lyrics. Nowadays it just all comes to me all at once like magic. Laughing Gas Treatment is officially my first real band and I am ecstatic with the other guys, the sound, the dynamics, and the quality of kick ass music we've put together in such a short period of time---enough about me!!! DAVE MARSH PERSONAL BIO: Dave contributes in many ways to the sound of Laughing Gas Treatment. He is the sound engineer for the band in both live shows and recording. Dave likes his bass fender and loud. He uses his precision to lay down a solid bottom end while enjoying the hypnotic leads of Laughing Gas Treatment! Get one today!!! JOHN SCHERLING PERSONAL BIO: Originally from Minneapolis, Jon Scherling (a.k.a. Jiggy Jon, 'The Jiggler', or 'The Notorious Jarred Bonch') has worked his way through life in a mind twisted state of fantasy and fate. After 5 years of grueling torture under the mastery of Jehovah, and the teachings of Abraham, brother Bonch knew it was time to live the dream. Playing drums and meddling with percussion built tunnels through his brain incorporating the insanity of those wondering how rhythm is maintained through the passion of desire. The energy of performing flows through his veins having always the need to pursue playing in a variety of formats, reaching levels only known by few others, including Keith Moon, Stephen Perkins, Stanton Moore and Art Blakey. After being exposed to so many differences Jon has committed his life to helping others reach their short and long term memories. Having the knowledge in what the truth foretells allows us to excel with a proven process of enlightenment. Catering to our needs internally establishes exactly what it is we want to achieve. We must work extremely hard to ensure clear transformations with the utilization of clear communication. LATE NIGHT PAULIE VOGL'S BIO: I was born in Detroit Michigan and moved to South Bend Indiana soon after. I was brough up listening to classical music and world music in my fathers art studio. Grade school was Beatles 45's. Tommy James and Three Dog Night and Jackson Five Five was on the AM transistor radio. I was given piano lessons and signed up for violin in the grade school orchestra. Then my friends came back from England with The Stones, Cream, Ten Years After, Hendrix, and Black Sabbath. Then I went to Hippie Island and saw people turning on and thought "I want some of that"! My friend Pat gave me a guitar for my birthday and I bought a used Cordovox amp and started my rock journey. I used to sneak into the Blues Clubs in Chicago in the late 70's to see all the blues greats---Albert Collins, Etta James, Buddy Guy, Johnny Lee Hooker, Johnny Winter, etc. My friends had a punk rock band PROPAGANDA that played Ramones, Clash, Sex pistols and originals. We would have rock and roll parties with wrestling mats on the walls and floors. I graduated High School and went to sound recording school for a while and jammed at school each day. Then I got a house and just jammed in my basement for 5 years and went on Dead Tour for 10 years. When the Dead were gone we started making our own music with a band called Subterraneans. We recorded 3 albums and played a few gigs. At the same time (1996-2000) I joined BoogieFoot from Niles Michigan and wrote, recorded, and played many gigs with them. In 2004, I moved to Fort Collins, Colorado and found many musicians and jammed, with the Lars, Brian and Paul Trio. The band mentally imploded and I met Lee Rissin and other like minded friens and HERE WE ARE---LAUGHING GAS TREATMENT---LOOSE AS HELL!!!! Nowadays I love going to every show possible and getting my new ideas and going to the SCHOOL OF ROCK in Colorado. I love EMT, WSP, Col. Bruce, Kimock, Dereck Trucks, Papa Mali, and my all time guitar hero is Roy Buchanan. PEACE! BRANDON JUDGE'S BIO: Brandon grew up in Kalispell, Montana and moved to Tacoma, Washington in 1999 to pursue a Bachelors degree in music. There, he played lead alto in the University of Puget Sound jazz band for 3 ½ years and started the Jones Project- a jazz combo frequenting banquets and weddings for the cash money but with a preference for laying down the funk at raging house parties. He also played second alto in Rich Wetzels Groovin Higher Jazz Orchestra from 2002-2004 and the Pierce jazz ensemble in 2003. Career highlights include playing with Ray Brown, Ed Shaughnessy, T.S. Monk, Fred Hersch, Toshiko Akiyoshi, Pablo Sanchez, and Marlena Shaw with the UPS Jazz band, as well as providing the alto sax and flute in a horn section for the Four Tops in Seattle, WA in 2003.
