Kia Ora and welcome!! I’m singer / songwriter bass player James Kahu from Auckland, New Zealand. Since picking up the bass guitar in 1989, I have immersed myself into every style of music. After being offered work as a freelance bass player and performing alongside some of the USA’s finest Jazz musicians, I soon decided it would be more beneficial to concentrate on my own music and set to work on recording my new material. The outcome of this has been the release of my Funk / Rock EP everything, debut album through me & Smooth Jazz albums vocals turned down & let the music sing which can be purchased on iTunes.
