Old Soldier is a Central Texas (Killeen & Fort Hood) based songwriter, an alumnus of Western Kentucky University and the University of Central Texas; as well as a veteran of the U.S. Air Force and U.S. Army. As CEO of Old Soldier Records, his primary objective is to write and produce songs which will be sang and played for generations to come. Old Soldier Records was therefore established to further his personal interests and goals while promoting the creation, propagation and appreciation of positive music with literary value. His ultimate goal and intent is to provide opportunities to writers, singers, musicians and entertainers with similar interests and the subsequent development, cultivation, and proliferation of positive ventures and talent. Though relatively obscure, this highly talented writer and producer has performed with R&B music moguls Lamont Boles, Jimmy Simpson, comedian Sinbad and a host of lesser known professionals. Despite his mastery of rap, poetry and spoken word, he lacked the enthusiasm, tenacity and motivation to pursue his calling. Nevertheless, over the years, he has developed an amazing untapped catalog of spoken word, poetry and songs which will be sang for generations. Like Bob Dylan, Gamble & Huff, Barry Manilow, Curtis Mayfield and Elton John & Bernie Tauplin, his material will entertain and enlighten while facilitating cross-cultural communications well into the next century.
