www.Sandrasilva.ca Born and raised in Calgary, Alberta, Sandra stayed close to her Latin roots. Of a Portuguese background Sandra also learned to speak and sing in Spanish. At the very young age of 8 she started pursuing her dreams of a performer. In 2007 she performed along side Boys 2 Men and in 2009 was one of the 20 finalists in the Edmonton World Wonder radio contest asked to perform at the Heritage Festival. Her current album \\\\\\\"You thought you knew\\\\\\\" was released April 17th 2009 and within 3 months sold 600 copies in her home town. She currently still has it in stores available to the public and on iTunes for download. Currently Sandra is working with producers such as Trey Mills who produced the single \\\\\\\"The Warning\\\\\\\"! He has worked along side group Xquisite producing \\\\\\\"No Regrets\\\\\\\" & \\\\\\\"Sassy Thang\\\\\\\" and currently works with Nicole Holness (Former member of the group). \\\\\\\"The Warning Reggaeton Remix\\\\\\\" by Frankie Biggz is currently being spinned in MIAMI! Frankie has also done remixes for Mariah Carey, Eminem, 50 Cent.. the list goes on! Sandra will continue to work closely with Frankie in 2013/2014 on a music video for The Warning remix featuring his artist GuilloMan and a new album including many catchy singles! Sandra\\\\\\\'s strengths consist of having a outgoing personality on stage, being very versatile and adapting to almost anything without hesitation. She takes the time to write all her music and put the personal touch into what she does and when she performs it you see the feeling behind each word. Her stage presence is admirable and shows confidence. When she puts her mind to anything it gets done productivity with detail and increased focus. She is very proud to have achieved what she has so far. Sandra attracts fans from various different age groups, mainly teenagers and younger audiences between 8 yrs old to 26 yrs old. Her music is compared to Jennifer Lopez, Ciara and Christina Milian. She has even had a comparison to Madonna on her track \\\\\\\"Baila\\\\\\\". Her pages have been very successful rating a 4.87 out of 5 stars and pages of positive comments. Myspace.com/sandrasilva2b has currently has over 14,000 views and on average gets roughly 200 plays per day. These figures are all achieved without much promotion. This year she will be focusing more on promo along with her new music and contacts - imagine where those numbers will go!
