Got into electronic music in the mid 90s, was more interested in how it was made rather then DJ'n. Bought a crappy roland synth in 96, made my first drum n bass tracks on it's 8 track sequencer. Sold it, left for the Navy, music production came to a halt for about 3 years. Got out of the navy, had some extra cash, bought some monitors, a macintosh and logic pro. Got my biology degree from UPITT, now going to medical college. Hard to work on tracks and keep on top of my school work. I really have no life, maybe once a month I go out. Most of the time i'm studying or writing music. That's about it. My hopes are to be able to practice medicine and improve my engineering capabilities by building my own studio from the ground up. Fuck yeah, and sex up my brain was a coop with a friend of mine. See designer drugs on myspace for more. I don't have any fancy compressors or mic preamps or EQs, i just use the plug ins that came with logic. My stuff tends to have that digital thin sound because of this. I also havn't mixed any of these down except for fuck yeah and designer drugs. The other ones are previews of what's to come. Comments, bad and good are welcome.
