With a music style that is reminiscent of a bygone era this 19 year old singer/songwriter is captivating both her audience and the music industry with her beautiful unique tone and style. Her vocals are haunting, she sings with raw emotion and passion as her edgy lyrics take you on a musical journey into her soul. She continues to develop a strong fan base with her innate ability to connect and mesmerize her audience on a personal level thru her music. Thinking outside the box, she combines blues rock of the 60’s and 70’s with soul and a twist of pop to define her eclectic sound. Bess has played various clubs and showcases from the West Coast to the East Coast, including an invitation to play a showcase at SXSW when she was just 17 years old. Bess was recently named as one of “TWENTY TO WATCH IN 2012”-Los Angeles Examiner. Her new EP “THE REAL THING” produced by Andrew Williams and Bess is a reflection of her growth and life experiences as a young woman entering adulthood. Tracks from the EP being released as singles are being mixed and mastered by Grammy Winning Producers Jay Baumgardner and Phil Tan. Bess has had various opportunities come her way, she was invited to do a private audition for The Voice in which she made the final cut out of thousands in a nationwide search, she opted out due to contract disagreements. She opened for LA Guns at the infamous Whiskey a Go Go on the Sunset strip at age 16 and has played various shows and showcases on the West and East Coast. Bess will be attending Berklee College Of Music, she will begin her studies online with her core classes which will allow her to complete her music projects and tour before relocating to the Boston Campus. At just 15 she recorded her first tracks (Motorcycle, Strange Feeling, Linger and Counting Down The Days) at NRG Studios in LA with Wade Norton, Tommy Byrnes (Billy Joels music director and guitarist) Bob Birch (Elton John's bassist) Jeff Kazze on keys and the infamous Kenny Arnoff on drums.
