IKE TURNA \\\"If you dont grind you dont eat\\\" When it comes to tenacity, hustle, and most importantly dedication, this Cleveland, Ohio native has definitely proven that motivation will be his anterior in order to make in the rap music industry. And by having these characteristics, his path to success will not be as extensive as most. Born Larry-Isaac Scott II, in 1978 in Cleveland, Ohio and moving to Palm Beach County in 1989, this 14 year rap veteran is not only tenured as far as stage experience, but his competitive yet humble disposition has enabled him to network with an array of industry execs., DJ’s, radio personality’s, and rappers alike. “ My love for this music is incomparable, and I don’t think there is any local artist that has as much drive and hustle as me,” says Ike. “I’m at every music seminar and DJ Pool in Florida if I’m able to make it there.” This now 29 year old father of four has to not only to deal with the tenacious task of taking care of his family and catapulting his rap career, but he also runs his own entertainment company “On-Point Music”. Spiritually driven and devoted to a strong belief in GOD, this son of a preacher has been in the rap game for a mere 14 years. Within that time span he has recorded over 150 songs.“Ike Turna” a.k.a. “Lil Nephew” has performed on stage in everything from high school talent shows to collages. He also has toured with the gold-selling bass group the “Splack Pack”, in the mid-90’s. Starting off his illustrious yet clandestine rap career with an independent record label based in West Palm Beach, Fla. entitled “Wun Stop Ent.” Mr. Turna’s first single, “It’s All Heavy”, which was produced by “Suave Smooth” was an instant success, received much acclaim from the underground music scene throughout Florida.. Turna’s second release “Whatcha Thank” was the # 1 song on X102.3’s local love for 4 months and became one of the most requested songs asked to be played . After an obvious knack for coming up with compelling hooks and realistic verses, “Ike Turna” who appropriately calls himself the “Network King” has been on a constant grind ever since.
