Originally out of Detroit, I currently reside in Los Angeles. Having grown up during the "Motown Era," Originality is always my goal. It was impossible in my era not to be involved in music as it was literally changing the world at that time. Hitsville was right there up the street and a lot of the Motown artists were right there in the hood before they all moved out here. Of course I was a kid but I remember rolling on the grass laughing at Melvin Franklin's voice when he'd visit my friends house on the block and David Ruffin, who for some reason I just didn't care for. For those who know the hood, I grew up on Hazelwood between LaSalle & 14th. I sang in groups from age 5 until 11 when I taught myself to play drums and our kid group became a band. I guess music is just a part of my being. I've actually been an internet artist since 98'. I guess I was actually one of the biggest artist at the original Mp3.com where I had 6 top 10 singles and 3 no.1's over an 8 month period with my debut release. My focus has always been on the internet and the future of the music business. Bembry Entertainment came first and since I could sing and write music, Chivalry was born. The company needed at least one artist. This was my training period as a "Complete Producer." Truth is, I'm more business orientated as you can see through Bembry Entertainment, Bembry Music and Bembry Business. All of which can be found at the respective .com addresses. What I've learned is that the markets are there but without the marketing dollars, there's only so much that can be accomplished so here I am and I'm not alone! I'm a single parent and I work full-time at a university so it's slow going since I wear all of the business hats but I'll be bringing everyone over in time. We're about to hit hard!
