My skin is white, I’m a sixteen year old female rapper from Wyoming. It sounds crazy, this I know. I hear it everyday. It’s on every corner, at the store, school, every where I turn people are doubting me. I started writing music at a very young age. I was about eleven when I decided that I wanted to spend my life in the music industry. The industry may turn out right for me or it might not. I’ve spent a little over a year determined to live the glamorous life. My first song I ever recorded was titled “Suicide”. I recorded this song with my brother Razor in a Radio Station DJs spare bedroom. Mark Media had never produced any rap or hip hop music, and had only recorded a few simple country songs. Still Razor and I spent twenty dollars an hour recording there. I was really nervous but once I stepped up to that mic I knew that’s where my life was meant to be spent. I know that people think I’m out of my mind for trying this. They have no faith in me. They think it’s just a dream. This dream sometimes seems so far out of my reach. I’m still here and this is where I will be until the very end. I’ve released three mix tapes and I’m steadily working my way up. I have my studio. It’s nothing real great but it gets the job done. I write my own music. I even produce all my own songs. My skin might be white and I’m from the cowboy stat but I’m just like all these other artists. I’m just staying on my grind with a big dream.
