[b]Born March 6, 1987 in Detroit. Swag developed a love for rhyming early on. As a youth he toyed around with rhyming by creating his own nursery rhymes. It wasnt until early in high school that he became more dedicated to his craft. The name “Yung Swag” comes from his days in high school. As the story is told, walking thru the halls with a certain aura, confidence and certain style, it became apparent to his peers that he was a bit swaggering, hence they called him “Swagga”. Yung Swag, the newest, soon to be icon, artist on the music "scene", yet not new to being a lyricist, has been writing seriously for 5 years, and rhyming since a baby. He began with poetry more so than rap, the battle between the two grew interesting and in the end poetry loss. Yung Swag is a phenomenal artist who is sure to please any crowd. He is currently working on a project and plans to pursue his dreams and carry on in this game we call "Rap". Yung Swag is a creative force that is sure to shake the media world up. His sleek and witty approach to hip-hop and unique aura make him stand out above the crowd.
