This was back in the early 70s when this young boy called Selom aka {Fillarm} felt in love with music, as most musicians say’s they started singing in their mothers womb, but for him all started when grandpa carries his radio to the farm mostly tune to {Ghana} GBC1 or GBC2, hey! There was nothing like FM. GBC radio played all kind of music both foreign and local so anytime he heard music on the radio he just drown closer to listen & within a few days he can sing some of the songs along, His singing along takes him to the class room he do disturb by singing in the class when ever there is no teacher in class no wonder co’s his grandpa also sing allots he has a very lovely voice u will love it yourself, after a calabash of palm wine what next singing, he also form a group with the people in the community and sing together their favorites songs, During entertainment in school he do sing songs he knows, people said he is an old man co’s he love old highlife songs and to him he love all kind of music in the world but the type of music he is doing is highlife that’s why he do listen to highlife song to boost his moral Dassebre Gyamena is his role model he like his style of music so much and any artist that has a lovely song to his or her credit Amekye Dede is one of the most!!! The other musicians he can not mention forgive him, people ask ohh a young guy like you why don’t u rap or do a hipop or even hiplife song He just said to them that my style. He has been to shows like 'exbit your talent', Miss Poly, Night beach show and more.
