Tequila Mockingbird is the original roots band from Denver, Colorado. This quintet is a long-standing staple on the western front range and is known for their dynamic live performances, as well as their catchy, hooky songs; the songs and lyrics described as "never felt so good to feel so bad." The songs are driven by the energy and madness of the Birds - as original as the music they produce. Wendy Clark fronts the band with her engaging vocals, guitar, and sassy expressions; Daniel Paschke is co-founder and lead guitarist extraordinare; Mark Mauldin plays the guitar(s) and plays the crowd; Rhett Haney is the bassist, backup vocalist, and idea-generating madman; Rob Cameron is the beatmaster. Their latest CD titled "Alien-American" was released in late 2004 and engineered by producer and musician Eric Shiveley.
