THE 2 FLY CREW was formed in Summer 2007 by founding members SLIM MUSIC & YOUNG NEEK. The two met a clothing store where they were both employed. Having similiar interests, one of them being music, caused them to naturally bond with each other. After attempts to make a mark in the industry individually, the two decided to test the waters and work together on a track. The result was "THROW IT UP", a YOUNG SEPH-produced club banger which was destined for radio airplay. With radio play on local stations and a tremendous internet buzz, the track ended up bigger than both member expected. SLIM MUSIC is quoted as saying, "I had absolutely NO idea that the track would become this big. It was nothing but a mere experiment to see if NEEK and I could work well together. Well apparently the formula worked and the public loves The 2 FLY CREW. They've been asking us for more so that's what we're gonna give them." Their aim is to bring hip-hop back to its original purpose, HAVE FUN! And to display freedom of expression, move the crowd, and make people dance. To quote YOUNG NEEK, "We don't even curse in our records. But we make it so that the listeners are so much INTO our records that they don't even notice it." The 2 FLY CREW eventually became a team of writers, rappers, DJs, producers, engineers, and promoters to cover all bases. Spear-headed by SLIM & NEEK's braggadocios delivery, introducing a new genre of music they label "Swagger Rap", along with the additions of SLIM MUSIC's personal producer YOUNG SEPH, DJ RUCKUS & PROTEGE', The 2 FLY CREW is ready to make their mark on the industry.
