They initially played only covers of certain metal bands including Iron Maiden, Metallica, Manowar and many others. APRIL 2005 Arturo Giannotti (guitar) and Giammarco Romagna (vocals) joined the group. Ludovico felt that it was time to stop to play covers, and decided to write new songs himself. SUMMER 2005 Lying in Dust was the first self-made song the band played. The music seemed inspired by power metal bands, and Giammarco’s lyrics dealt of deep and conceptual themes. MAY 2006 Matteo Bizzocchi joined the band, which had the name Daimones (“spirits” in Greek). Suddenly Arturo left the band although after some days it would have been the first real show of Daimones. So Giacomo asked his friend Lorenzo Badioli if he had intention to join the group. He agreed. The band changed its name in Nightland and made its debut with the new formation. AUGUST 2006 Alessandro Polidori joined Nightland at the keyboards, bringing a new progressive influence to the band. Some days later Giacomo left the group. OCTOBER 2006 Marco Biagini took the place of Giacomo as drummer. The band slightly changed its style again; the musics were more complicated and longer, and the lyrics were deeper anymore. Marco biagini is the best drummer from nightland! have a natural talent such as other members of the band! Marco moreover is a complete drummer, infact he played all kind of music, he can play everything! SUMMER 2007 The band had a lot of shows and news songs. Alessandro and Lorenzo began to play also with Dirty Sexy Core. At the end of the summer a crisis started in the band. MAY 2008 Alessandro and Lorenzo left Nightland. AUGUST 2008 Filippo Scrima joined Nightland and replace the rule of second guitar player instead of Lorenzo. SEPTEMBER/OCTOBER /NOVEMBER 2008 Now the band are working for the official CD that will be selled for december 2008 and play a lot of gigs in italy.. DECEMBER 2008 THe band will do a lot of gigs in italy, and wait for the official Cd that will be buy in our web site with a lot of gadget such as t.shirt and many many more! www.nightland.it JANUARY 2009 THe band continue the gigs around italy, but the best event will be 3 january 2009 in PESARO, where the band play an unplugged shows with official dvd too! will be a nice shows!! ----------------------------- Nightland want to thank our crew, and other people that works for us!
