Sometimes it's the voice, sometimes it's the lyrics, sometimes it's the personality and sometimes it's the look - for Classik it's all of the above and then some! Like Boosie, Webbie, C-Loc, Youngbleed and Max Manelli, this red-hot St.Gabriel native will be next in a long line of Louisiana hit makers and is on the verge of becoming a southern star! Classik began his career in music at the age of 12, by putting his life experiences on paper and expressing them in a lyrical manner that he kept only to himself. He got his first taste of stardom in the 7th grade at a school-wide talent show in College Park, Georgia where he got a standing ovation for a rap solo. No one had expected that the quiet chubby boy that barely ever said a word had flow! After this, Classik knew he was destined to be a star. While Classik doesn't set out to appeal to anyone in a particular group with his music, he does see one of his goals to be reaching everyone with his music. He never doubts that he will succeed. "Everything that has happened for me I'm happy about, and the Lord has blessed me in many ways, so, I can't stop now...I DREAM BIG!" says Classik. With his high profile recognition and 2 major rap competitions under his belt, there is absolutely no limit for this new, up and coming rap artist. Last year, the Max 94.1 "Hip Hop Supastar Contest" gave him the opportunity to do a duet with rap mogul C-LOC, and also gave him the chance to lay down some tracks in professional studios. This has led to Classik's music being put on various mix tapes which means...his voice will definitely be heard throughout Baton Rouge and the surrounding areas! Be on the look out for "Classik!"
