A band from the southern area of Adelaide. Three of the members, Karl Munce (Guitar) Peter Edwards (Drums) and David Edwards (Bass) have known each other for many years and have been writing music together ever since they found a love for it. But, it wasnt until they met Arne Breuer (Vocals) that this band was totally complete. Arne, originally from Germany brought a new side to the music with both very unique and well-ranged vocals and a piano/keyboard. The music was always there but these new elements gave it more diversity and entirety. All the parts of the puzzle were now in place but at the time they didnt have a band name. Midsouth is a combination of where 3/4 of the band grew up and where the other 1/4 met the boys at AGS Music City for their inaugural jam session. Ever since then, they have been rocking down the walls with their Alternative Rock style songs, adding in a taste of punk, hardcore and emo. They are four guys who really love the music they are playing and when they are on stage it is easy to see that. The main thing they want to do is just get their sound out to as many people as possible. They recently recorded their self-titled EP at Mixmaster Broadcast Studios and are sending them out to anyone and everyone. After they recorded they played a show at the lizard lounge with a few other great Adelaide bands and now it is all about getting their name and music out there for everyone to hear.
