Born in Mulgrave Park, North End, Halifax, NS...CRITICAL has been drawn to music since he was able to speak. By the age of 8, he was able to sing whole songs and could carry the tune. As he grew older, so did his love for music and he started writing short songs. But at the time, he was living in the "hood" where cats would be outside hustlin' & smokin' up. To avoid a bad situation, his family moved a few years after to West End, Halifax, NS where he got a chance to see the lighter side of things. Interactin' with young fellas such as his-self he learned to realize there was music all around him. So when he turned 14, CRITICAL joined the a local group called Platinum 5 which consisted of 4 other members excluding himself. Signed underneath the indie label by the name of "Envy Us Records" CRITICAL then believed he would become known and blow up quickly in the local scene. Do to some mis-communications with the members and manager CRITICAL departed from the group and left and did his solo thing. He would then be into a surprise. In 2007, with the influences of his past and street experiences & hard work, CRITICAL partnered with C-Thru and has started making music and gettin' well known in the streets. CRITICAL & C-Thru then bonded together and formed a label named "Monsta Movements Entertainment" which features another artist named T.A. & Affiliated with Street Diesel Ent.'s Nixx. They responded in a big way. They would drive around the hood, letting people hear samples of there songs. Also being nicknamed "Tha Man On Fire" CRITICAL then got recruited by a well known entertainment label who went by "Street Die$el Entertainment" lead by VA$Heatt. Street Diesel consists of artists such as Himself, Va$Heatt, So$a, Nixx, Badu, Bealzy, Little Row & More! Now at the age of 16 CRITICAL has joined a local battle league called TEL (The Elements League). Though havin' a negative record of 1-4 overall, Fans and C.E.O.'s of the league stated the CRITICAL is the most popular emcee in the league next to another emcee named Pat Stay. They state CRITICAL has high, high potential and his fierce flow, powerful punchlines & monstrous voice could bring him to the top really soon. CRITICAL has many medals in the local rap scene. Takin' home $500 from winning a "Lyrics To Live By" competition from being runner up in a freestyle battle competition, CRITICAL is risin' time by time and claims his-self as the best 16 year old in NOVA SCOTIA. After workin' harder and harder most people know him for bein' "The Hardest Out" from his story tellin' lyrics and "hard" delivery on tracks. CRITICAL is ready for whatever and whoever tries to stop him from shinin' & risin' to the top! CRITICAL says "I feel i'm the best my age alongside with my niggas GREEDY & T.A., It's a young boy takeover just give a few years!
