NJE is a solo hip-hop artist hailing from Campbelltown in Sydney Australia, (Originally born in New Zealand). He has always had a love & passion for Hip Hop & started writing in 1999. In December 2005 he released his debut album [b]NJE- LIFE’S SCRIPTUREZ[/b] Independently without a label which he self distributed to various stores around AUS such as JB HI FI & online.. NJE has been performing & promoting the album through his own hard work as well as via his promo street team which currently consists of 65 people Australia wide. His current gigs, interviews & newest tracks can be heard via: [link="URL"][b]www.myspace.com/nje[/b[/link]] Recently NJE joined a new label [b]SOUL CONNECT RECORDS & is now managed by Anthony Nicita.[/b] Our label is currently planning [b]NJE’s new album “FROM THE OUTSIDE LOOKING IN” as we speak & we are looking to release the lead single “GLASSES UP” produced by label mates SO’ FLAWLESS in the new year..[/b] [b]However In the meantime, NJE is planning to drop a mixtape instores titled “THE INDEPENDENT HUSTLER’S MIXTAPE” with DJ D-KUTZ early JAN 2008 to give his fans a taste of what to expect in the future.[/b] NJE is a passionate artist with the desire to succeed through hard work. [b]- NJE Recently recorded a track with US R&B/Soul artist DANNY BOY ( he sung the hook in the 2pac classic: I AINT MAD AT CHA ) - After DJ NINO BROWN heard NJE’s album he interviewed him on his TRAILBLAZIN’ RADIO SHOW on THE EDGE 96.1FM - Invited to perform in ADELAIDE & CANBERRA in late 2007 due to growing fan base‘s interstate - Album Tracks “LIFE’S SYMPHONY” & “SIGN OF THE TIMES” gain regular rotation on SYD radio station THE EDGE 96.1 FM In 2006. - Performed @ Sultan’s niteclub in Canberra for the GROOVEON 4th Anniversary party in 2005. Also performed there again in 2006. - NJE has had several articles, & mentions for gigs etc in the local papers about my achievements as a Hip-Hop artist. - Tracks from his debut album gained airplay on Triple J’s Hip-Hop show in 2005-2006. As well as Local stations around AUS. - Album track titled “SIGN OF THE TIMES” voted into the top 5 (Hip-Hop Category) at the 2004 MUSICOZ AWARDS in Wollongong. - NJE voted as a finalist for a comp @ UN Nightclub in 2004. & also 2004 finalist for the Urban Icon comp held @ Minc Lounge. - In 2002 he was invited to perform @ the AUTO EXPO CAR SHOW in SYD, Along with fellow rappers STR8-UP-T & NICKY BLAZE - In 2001 NJE rapped live on CHANNEL V before Eminem’s crew D-12 made an appearance to a crowd of approximately 3000 people. - NJE has also performed at many youth events & charity events such as McHappy day around SYD since around 2001.
