Slim Beezy, ½ of the group Trilla Boys, calls himself, Chucktowns Best Kept Secret, because of how long he has been making music without any recognition. He was born and raised in North Charleston, SC, where he started the independent label, Undagroun Recordinz, in 1999. His new album, Trilla Muggin, brings emotion and everyday real life situations, mixed in with a street vibe, to the music business. The person who inspired him musically was 2Pac, because of his revolutionary style and outlook on life in these streets. 2Pac use to actually talk about the things going on in the streets that nobody was talking about, which sets him off in an incomparable style of street rap.
