What's up world I am a R&B singer. My name is Jimela, I am a 21 year old from Memphis, Tn. I have always loved music and singing, I started singing when I was seven years old in a gospel group called the Lord's Army. My mom had been on me to go to American Idol, but that isn't what I wanted to do. I still wanted to do my music but not that way. When I was 10 years old my aunt was dating Gerald Levert's bodyguard Murf. That year Murf came to Memphis and met me thru my aunt. He wanted to take my cousin and I to Cleveland, Ohio back to Gerald's studio, but due to a family emergency I wasn't able to go. I never gave up. So look out world here I come. I hope you will enjoy listening to it as much as I did making it.
