Lucius Kayne is a very unique artist, with style and versatility unknown in the hip-hop genre. Lucius Kayne is one third of Granite Productions formed in 1998 in Scarborough Ontario, where he made a name for himself being aggressive and relentless whether on stage or in the booth. Lucius Kayne is in a class all by him self, with a wide variety and range of music it is difficult to place him in one genre, a trend setter Lucius Kayne’s strongest skill is his versatility leaving his skills and ability’s limitless. This up and coming artist is what music needs and what the world has been waiting for. 2007 marks the debut of Lucius Kayne’s first solo album titled ‘Against all odds’. This album shows exactly how versatile Lucius Kayne really is, with songs anyone can listen to from ages 8 to 80. Tapping into genres like, reggae, r & b , techno, and many more, Lucius Kayne is all over the map on this one. Lucius Kayne is relentless when it comes to spitting that fire. With crazy flows, explosive energy, and vocals Lucius Kayne’s music speaks for him and it’s self, ‘Against all odds’ he will rise up and conquer. Granite Productions is where it all began in 1998 from an idea Lucius Kayne created to one day own his own record label. Lucius Kayne and his brother Rooks Crooks went to work buying studio equipment thus allowing them to cut cost. Creating a sound ‘The Granite sound’ allowed Granite to stand out among the rest. As stated earlier Lucius Kayne is one third of Granite, his younger brothers makes up the rest. Rooks Crooks and Que which are both producers with the exception of Rooks Crooks who is also an artist as well. With a strong business plan in place the’ Lucius Kayne’ project is one of many big projects Granite Productions is working on.
