I don't wanna holla at ya'll in the third person sense...So I'm gonna come on a personal level...Sometime we just need that!!! Well here is a lil info about me... I'm 24, and from The Show Me State. yeah that's right! St.Louis... I grew up in Wellston on the 6200 block of Plymouth and been doing the rap/singin' thing since the age of 3, believe it or not. I was Raised in the church all my life, so I had to make some fun of it. The main reason why I decided to get in the game Now is my peeps in the Lou. I did a song for the MO Black Expo Fashion Show Def Jam/J Records after party, got a name for myself from that alone. People always said I had a sound that catches the ears of the old and young..."Rissa is before her time", So they say. I mainly did church outreach city ghetto shows(som'n som'n) for the streets to reach the streets my way... I've had a very hard life growing up as has most of us. I know that my misery is my ministry and my therapy. thus, all the shit that I been thru i'm gonna make it count for something... Most people have shame and pride in things that they've done and been thru. Well not I, not one damn thing I been thru will go unheard. Not one stone will go unturned as I expose what really goes on. I Rep the streets, battered women, single parents, homeless people, abused women, poor people, the ghetto(hood), low income, lost souls, the hungry, THE People who don't have a voice....
