CASPA BLACK Growing up facing the hard knock life, Caspa Black found a way to pursue a career as a recording artist. Born and raised in Brooklyn, NY, Caspa Black has emerged through a series of emotionally mind-blowing ups and downs in his journey for success. Being broke, hungry and stressed was the perfect recipe for trouble. But to keep him partially sane, he opted to battle more on the block displaying his lyrical flow and love for hip-hop music. After conquering the streets, hanging on the block was not enough for him. He wanted to be somewhere creating his own music rather than jacking beats from established hip-hop artist. Caspa Black’s thirst for success was eating at him more and more, until producer D Coppa Feel from Jonezy Bonez Entertainment quenched it. The pair kicked it off instantly. The opportunity to develop his skills with original music was one of his endeavors. With that being said, Caspa Black went on to record several original projects. He then began to turn out local New York, Long Island and New Jersey open mic venues. It was then Caspa Black realized that he was truly an artist. You can see the fire in his eyes when he performs. This young artist is driven. He has a talent for the game. And he is built for this industry. Caspa Black has released two underground CDs called Freemix Vol. 1 and Vol. 2, which were all industry tracks, where his lyrical flow dominated the beats. Now with his own original project, he’s got something for the ladies, something for the clubs and flava for the streets. When asked how do you create your songs Caspa Black said, “When I listen to a hot track, it talks to me. Words just come right out the speaker and into my head… Crazy right! I swear music talks to me.” As he pursues his journey for success, Caspa Black does not want to be known as the greatest rapper but noted for the life he lived to become a successful and influential artist, much like the one who influenced him – Tupac Shakur.
