Born in Richmond, VA and raised between the city and rural family home of White Stone, Thelonius was raised in music. "I remember getting feelings from music at a very young age". His maternal grandmother kept him in the church, learing bible verses, attending Sunday school, and participating in conventions. "There was always somewhere to sing. At one point I was a member of 3 choirs just in my home church!" Ironically, the place where he found music as a child would not be so inclusive through his adolescence. "I was crazy and rebellious, but who isn't as a teenager. Struggling to find myself was a very hard thing for me. Music kept my sanity, I connected with the writers, I felt I wasn't alone." "Now I feel I need to be a voice for people like me. Independent people who choose to be happy in their lives regardless of what others may say. I want you to hear my songs and say, I AM NOT ALONE, I can make it through this." Debut cd currently in the works, "Thelonius IS MRTheo" is about life and love. The ups, downs, good and not so good. "My story, through my eyes. I call it Theosoul." Thelonius' mission is to help put soul back into music.[color="blue"][/color][color="green"][/color]
