Sociology Publishing > Writers > Tyler Moore [b] [color="black"]Tyler Moore has been playing the piano since he was 5 years old and picked up the guitar at about 15. Almost as soon as he could strum and sing at the same time, Tyler began to compose songs and often succeeded in persuading his friends to take up guitar, bass, and drums to piece together sporadic jam sessions. Though he never has formed a band of his own, he has been requested for several solo performances, and his songs have gained increasing attention over the last year and he continues to blossom as a young writer. Tyler is an undergraduate majoring in English with a minor in Creative Writing at Austin Peay State University in Clarksville, TN. His awards at Austin Peay include two consecutive Creative Writing scholarships and the J.D. Lester Award for Outstanding Undergraduate Writing. He currently serves as the editor-in-chief for APSU's annual literary journal, "The Red Mud Review."
