The Original Gamspitter MacCharlton was born in Chattanooga Tennessee. He was raised on the eastside of the city in a hood widely known as Eastdale. Growing up in the 80's& early 90's around Chatt was just like growing up in any predominantly black neighborhood. "Man we used play outside, life was good, but when crack hit the hood, it went from suga to shit." He started to appreciate poetry and music at an early age. "My first music was a New Edition record my folks couldn't waste their money on my music tastes. That's when I started mowing lawns and raking leaves to make my own cheese." His early hip hop influences are KRS-1, Fresh Prince, EPMD, Dana Dane, Ice Cube and E-40. Most of his influences are profound storytellers. "I wrote my first rap in 9th grade it was called sexual healing my dad found it and tore it up." But this did not thwart Mac's love for hip hop. At the age of 18 MacCha was told he would never go to college. This motivated the OG to hustle hard work and stack to pay cash for his first college experience. He moved to Murfreesboro Tn where he attended MTSU. "Man college really shot my game to a whole nother level." He later moved to Nashville and then back to Chattanooga too reunite with his original click. There he did work with artist TRICKY FANGUZ on his 'Deep In Da Game' album. Unfortunately things got hot in the hood. "Let me say this I thank God I got a job in Memphis when I did it saved my life." MacCharlton is professional videographer. His years at MTSU paid off. He works and lives in Memphis. "I am a real Big Tenn representer I done lived all over this state."
