About Daniel Oakley, I am a thirty something singer/songwriter from just outside London. I grew up in a small town but spend a lot of time in the city. Having got my first guitar in my early teens I never looked back and drew most of my influences at the time from bands like Guns n Roses, The Red Hot Chilly Peppers and such! However over the years my taste has changed dramatically and by the time I started writing and recording six years ago my music was far more laid back and acoustic as it is now. I record my songs at home on a small eight track recorder using only what I have at home. an electric guitar, a small keyboard, a harmonica and of coarse my beloved acoustic guitar. I try to write simple songs that hopefully normal people will be able to relate to. My ultimate goal is to be a songwriter for other artists to perform as i strongly believe in my music and I think with the right vocals and production it would be unstoppable and beautiful!
