Formed in early 2008, ‘IT’S A TRAP!’ are a three piece alternative indie band currently playing in the East of England and London looking to branch out and spread their sound to a wider audience. With a sound often compared to bands the likes Bloc Party, Interpol and Biffy Clyro, these three young musicians from Ipswich have already played some high profile gigs along side internationally recognised bands such as, ‘We are THE PHYSICS’ along with Local Heroes, road to V festival winners ‘Rosalita’. Though ‘IT’S A TRAP!’ can frequently be heard before seen rocking local venues in the Suffolk area they’re not afraid to step outside their comfort zone, having already appeared at large capacity venues such as Colchester’s arts centre and many London venues, including the famous Bar Monsta in Camden Town. Having promoted tirelessly on myspace.com the boys have a rapidly growing fan base and are frequently asked to play fans’ home towns across the country.
