I've been playing in Melbourne Australia for a few years now as a solo singer/songwriter performing original material. Ive been writing/composing music since I was 18 and have written three or four albums worth of material since then. Started playing guitar when I was 14 and now, I couldnt imagine life without it. I consider my music to be authentic, each of my songs written from the heart, and often created from the depth of dark periods of time in my life. I am almost incapable of writing something light and happy, I believe it is very hard to write a happy lyric without it sounding cliche and I avoid lyrics like 'I love you' at all costs.' Funny though, cause the only track I currently have up is the closest thing to a love song I have written so youll have to forgive me, Im usually not so romantically cheesily inclined. I am quite a shy performer and person in general, I think my lyrics expose my vulnerabilities which reflects onto my stage persona. I am a fussy songwriter and avoid writing songs or lyrics that I dont myself believe to be of my best abilities. Anyways enough ranting, only got one song up at the moment because my computer wont load tracks for some reason, will have more up soon.
