YolandaChenise was born On March 31st in St. Louis Mo. She knew she wanted to sing the first time she heard Whitney Houston's "I Believe the Children Are Our future" She continued to sing around the house using a hairbrush as her microphone. As she got older she started to audition for talent and fashion shows throughout the St. Louis Metro area hoping to get notice. YolandaChenise left music alone and tried college out; but school was not what she wanted to do at that time, so she joined the Army Reserves. She relized that she had a passion for music and that is what she wanted to persue. Years and years later she auditioned for American Idol, they turned her down. She once again quit singing, that was until her father her was battling lung cancer asked her what she gonna do about singing, just keep giving up everytime a door is closed in her face. YolandaChenise kept that with her, her father passed away in 2007 and she continues to carry him with her. She decided to go into the studio to record. She got up with long time friend "Mark da Sparks" and made some things happen. But that too came to an end when she found out she was getting deployed for 15 months. "Yes this is amother obstacle, but I can't let this get me down, I will make my daddy proud of me". When she return to the states next year she plans to work with some hot producers out of New York, ATL and of course her long time friend Mark Da Sparks out of Hampton Va. WATCH OUT WORLD!!!!
