Kush G was born Turon William Jackson on December 9th, 1986 in Los Angelas, California. As a child in elementary school he was the star of many school plays and performances. He Moved to Moreno Valley, California in 1996 where he attended another performing arts school. During his high school years he started rapping with the group "Varsity Squad" which was very known throughout the city. Kush G was known then as "Dakid!" In 2004 "Varsity Squad" hooks up with local record label "Royalty Records." Kush G and the Varsity Squad dropped their 1st mixtape "This is our city." After the release of the mixtape Kush G gets into legal trouble and is incarcerated for 3 months. Upon his release he vowed to never go back and make music his main priority. In 2007 Kush G was blessed with his first daughter and has been working overtime with his music to provide a better life for her! Kush G went solo in 2008 and was going by the name "King Dollaz!" As King Dollaz he made a name for himself throughout Cali and the internet! In 2009 "King Dollaz" Dropped his first solo mixtape titled "Who Am I" which is available on Datpiff.com as a free download. King Dollaz recorded and mixed/mastered the whole "Who Am I" mixtape on his own no professional help. In 2010 he changed his name to "Kush G" and made it his official name. Kush G is currently working a new mixtape entitled "I am only man I am not perfect" It is set for release at the end of the summer. Kush G feels he is a mixture of all true artists who make good music. His plan is to open up the eyes and the ears of weak lost and those who need to be heard!
