Bio
Born in Washington DC in 1978, Mugagga Kintu came into the world by way of parents from East Africa Uganda. Settling in Prince Georges County Maryland, young Mugagga was inspired by traditional african music as well as local Go-Go music. But it wasn't until he first heard Run DMC the he pledged his allegiance to Hip Hop. Artist like Slick Rick, Rakim, N.W.A. and Ghetto Boys, A Tribe Called Quest, helped to influence him into writing his own rhymes and eventually making his own tapes. Through out his middle and high school years, Mugagga recorded and performed under the name of Stickabush (given to him by his peers teasing him about his hair) in and around his new home in Montgomery County Maryland. After graduating in 1996, Bush (as he's called today) enlisted in the U.S. Army where he joined a rap group called U.N.I. Composed of three other members from all over the U.S. they performed and recorded and sold their debut cd through out central Texas where they were stationed. Calling himself a seasoned amateur, Stickabush is more than ready to be the first Hip Hop superstar to emerge from Maryland. With structured lyrics and a distinct voice his music can and will carry him to the top of the music world. The question remains: is the world ready for Stickabush? WWW.STICKABUSH.COM
