Bio

Gary grew up watching and admiring his father play guitar for the legendary gospel group The Virginia Soul Stirrers. Years later, after becoming a member himself, he left the group to pursue other avenues which lead to touring the east coast in various cover and original bands. It was at this time that Gary started to hone his songwriting skills, and after a few failed attempts with Major labels, he left the road and set up Carliza's Way recording studio. Gary's focus these days are on songwriting and publishing. He uses various singers to get his point across including J. None (Man Up!), Nina Faulks (Shut it Down), and Singhore (Fathers song). Gary tends not to be limited by genres, instead he just writes whatever is put in his heart.
