Born and raised in Chicago Illinois I moved to wisconsin when I was 18.I always knew I had the love fo music. I started out winning quite a few different talent shows for performing other artist songs. It wasnt until around 1992 that I got into the hip hop/rap thing. I was inspired by my older brother. He would come home and let me listen to his songs and I wanted to follow in his foot steps. I've always liked NWA,Fat Boys, Slick Rick, Douggie Fresh, Snoop Dogg, ect. I use to memorize their songs and keep rappin them. When I was about fourteen I started free stylin and it was then that people started saying that I really had a gift!! But it was more like a hobby. Shortly after loosing my son in 1998, I went to prison and it was then that I started to write. After a few years and alot more raps I got out and turned right back to the streets, leaving all the music behind. By 2001, I was on my way back to the joint with the mentallity that when I got out I was ooing to focus strictly on music. In 2003 I got another chance at life and was determined to do this music. I rapidly got back on track,droppin a couple songs in the local area. I have gotten my credability up real quick. Shortly after that, in 2004, I received another nasty blow losing my only sister to cancer. I slowed the rap up for a while, but came back writing with more feelin. I have alot of music that aint been heard yet, but it will be soon. Im mixin my r&b up with my raps so people definately should be able to feel it. My first solo album "This Is My Life" is inspired by my life and all the trials and tribulations I have been through. I feel that there is at least one song on it for everyone. There are hard times in all of our lives but all we gotta do is stay strong. What doesn't kill us will only make us stronger. The album is dedicated to my sister Lisa, who is no longer with us....RIP It would be great to get my foot in the door a little bit farther and even better, my whole being. I am looking forward to the comments and feedback from this site, and hey you never know who might be listening. I have a mix CD soon to be released in early Spring.
