Lee Harris/moondust project is a Singer/Songwriter/Music Producer/DJ from Northern England. He started work in the music industry in '89 at The Music Factory Entertainment Group as a Singer/Songwriter. Whilst there he met his musical partner, Karl Maddison & they embarked on a musical journey which saw them create music of most genres, reinventing themselves time & time again. They created house, world, chill out,acoustic soul & jazzy electronica music amongst a few. They received extensive airplay for the track 'Canus Lupus' which made the grade with DJs such as Sasha, Jon Digweed & Dave Seaman and featured on several dance compilation albums including 'Renaissance'. They then recruited 'Slinky' resident DJ Gaz White and formed 'Northface Soundsystem' making cutting edge dance tunes.'Northface' tracks were played to many brimming dance floors across the globe & featured on Pete Tongs 'Essential Selection' (to name one) on numerous occasions. Craving a desire to play live, 'Mojah' were then formed, a live five piece band that fused electronic with live acoustic sounds. 'Mojah' played gigs around the UK & developed a strong fan base, gaining interest from some of the UK's most respected indie record labels. However, due to some unrest, the band decided to put things on hold so Karl & Lee then returned to the studio where they began to produce atmospheric soundtracks. This earned them a contract with Universal Publishing which is ongoing to this day. Lee & Karl also created 'The Delta Tramps' & began to record & gig acoustic, jazz inspired, original material. This was going well until Karl died unexpectedly in 2007 (RIP Brother). Lee is now producing music alone in his own studio and has been Djing as 'Mr. Blakes' in between everything else for the past 10 years. He Djs at various venues, including a monthly residency at 'Dusk til Dawn' in Bournemouth, playing his own eclectic style.
