Born in Jos, Plateau state, Nigeria, Queensley is from Anambra State. She is the third child, in a family of five. Born into a family of music lovers, she grew up as an addict listener to soft rock, country, pop, contemporary soul, high life and jazz music. Influenced by artists such as Sting, Micheal Jackson, Bryan Adams, Sarah Mclachlan, Madonna, Sade, Spice Girls, Enya, Yanni, Patty Obassey… just to mention a few, and, together with a little self help in the knowledge of music, she has been able to sharpen her songwriting skills, allowing her write songs that cut across many song genres more especially the rock, soul and pop genres. She has been writing songs for about 20 years; songs that will positively inspire lives. “Being a songwriter and singer is one of the greatest blessings in my life. She participated in 3 different categories (jazz/blues, christian/faith and lyrics only categories). 3 out of the 4 songs made it to the semi-finalist list, and one finished in the highly commended entry list. Two of the certificates can be viewed in her photo section. She is a graduate of Mathematics/Computer science, University of Minna Niger State and a masters degree holder in Mathematics, University of Jos, Plateau State. She also intends to further her education in mathematics. Queensley is married with four beautiful kids. She is indeed highly appreciative of the effort and support she has been receiving from her immediate and extended family members.
