Sarah Ashley is the teenage experience!!!... Born Sarah Ashley Blunt in Hartford, CT 11/17/1993, Sarah experiences the everyday struggles, pressures, and exciting times the teenage years bring, which reflects in most of her music. Sarah is currently an 11th grader at Synergy High School in East Hartford, CT. As a youngster, Sarah’s voice was very raspy as if she had "lost" her voice until the age of 13. Normal conversation with her would be very hard to understand, let alone her trying to sing. Since then a power house of angelic vocals have been shooting out into the air! A sound that she wishes that her father Marvin Keith Blunt could hear, who was lost to the streets when she was just 7 years old. This lost does not deter her from chasing her dreams, but motivates her as she wants to make her daddy proud by being successful, as he watches down on her. Sarah’s inspirations in music are her idols Aaliyah and Keisha Cole among many others. Non stop vocalizing of her favorite artists tunes is an everyday must in her life. Being the pure raw talent that she is, producers found it amazing how she handled her first times in the studio, often needing one take to perfect her vocals. Her learning curve was 2nd to none as she learned new aspects of music. Sarah's plans are to put her home state of CT on a national stage, and also sing teens through their good and bad times that come with pre-adulthood.
