With the release of his debut album, The Underground, John Nicholson brings us an emotionally charged collection of catchy, pop-rock songs with a definitive sound all his own. With a growing legion of fans, this thirty year old Melbourne artist is on the fast-track to success. His unique sound is the result of a lifetime of musical influences. His first foray into the world of music came when he began learning piano at the age of ten. A few years later, he began to learn classical guitar, which laid the foundation of his own expressive style and love of song writing. After finishing high school, John’s musical journey continued as he studied for an Advanced Diploma of Song Writing at Box Hill Institute of Tafe. Performing at select Filipino events and pubs in Melbourne throughout this time, his ambition became more determined. As his confidence grew and his style developed, he soon saw a loyal following begin to grow. The album features John on guitars and vocals. The Underground was recorded at Sonicboy Studios with veteran sound engineer Tony Hunt.[color="darkblue"][/color][p]
