Now introducing 2012's most anticipated artist, Cy Young! Coming straight from one of the midwest’s most controversial cities ( Gary, In ), "Young" was quickly exposed to the street violence, drug trade, and overall poverty that "G.I." Has to offer. Cy grew up on Gary’s eastside neighbor-"HOOD" Marshalltown and the Gary Housing Authority Project Dorie Miller Homes! At the age of ten he realized that he had a very unique talent with word play! From that point on C-Y would often flirt with his new found talent. It wasn’t till his seventh grade year that he took his writings seriously. He started constructing songs instead of open verses. Shortly after that he and two other friends formed the group “Flesh-n-Blood”. Cy's Original stage name came from the honorable fictional character Nino Brown. After two long years and lack of progress Young decided to leave the group to pursue a solo career. Feeling like he was off to a new start, Young decided to change his name. That very day the street loved, hard spitting, crowd rocka Cy Young was born. If Question by his decision on choosing the name, he would simply reply, “ I’m throwing heat at these niggas!!!”
