Jonathan Thorpe a.k.a J.T (The Lyrikal Priest) is a Sierra Leonean currently leaving in Freetown, Sierra Leone. He started sing at the age of ten (10) in a Methodist Church Choir and over the years, his skills have been polished through different male chorus groups. In 2004, The Lyrikal Priest was featured by Abdulai Bayoh, another prominent Sierra Leonean Gospel Musician now leaving in the States, in his album "Born To Win". The award-winning song "Jesus So Nice" featured (for the first time) The Lyrikal Priest as he does his tricks in Christian Rap. In 2006, The Lyrikal Priest released his debut album "Na Di Church" (In The Church, in English) with award-winning song "Na Di Church" (also album title). Since then, The Lyriakl Priest have featured in many albums and songs and he is getting better in his skills. Predominantly a hip hop rapper, The Lyrikal Priest shows his all-round ability in reaggae, zouk, and dancehall music. Married with two children, The Lyrikal Priest holds a B.A Degree in Theology from the Christian Leadership University, U.S.A. He currently serves as the Media Director (Production), Destiny Media Outreach.
