I grew up on country music and although I listen to and like a whole spectrum of genres, country music will always be my first love. I started singing while still in primary school and also taught myself to play the guitar. I did a few gigs after school but once married with children they were the first priority in my life. 5 years ago I teamed up with my friend and singing partner, Gerrie Snyman (now my producer) and we recorded two duet country cd's. From the first cd - He drinks Tequila - we had a number one hit with the title song on the SA Country Top 10. We also won the "SA Country Top 10 Elite Melody Award" for "Best Country Group/ Duo for "He Drinks Tequila" in 2008. We released our 2nd CD - I'm From The Country - in 2009 and had two nr. 1 hits on the SA Country Top 10 with "Will you travel down this road with me" & "When the gold in your hair turns to silver". My first solo CD - Shut Up & Drive - is a dream that came true and I can't wait to share it with the world....
