NO IMAGE NO IMAGE is a super versatile vocal/instrumental group. They are prolific song writers,producers and performers. The members are Ebony (Rain) Members, Michael (Traxx) Bailey and Perry (Keys) Johnson. The group hooked up in 2007 after writing, recording and performing individually during the year. Since they've been together they have performed at some of the top clubs, halls and centers throughout the New York area. RAIN, 28 years old, has performed in such New York hotspots as The Illusions Club, Marcus Hall, N.Y. Office Building, the Unforgettable Club the Groove Club, Cafe Wha, the Amazon club, the After Five Club, the Nells Club and the H2O Club. Rain's video and movie credits include singing James Brown's It's A Man's World and her own song Lay Me Down on the soundtrack of the hit movie “How To Be A Playa” as well as singing her song Caught In The Game in the Transitions video Ghetto Laws produced by Michael Bivins. She inherits musical genius from the famous Poindexter clan. Her mother, Jacqueline, father, Robert and uncle Richard are co-writers of the classic “Thin Line Between Love and Hate,” and more recently co-writers of “He Can Only Hold Her” on Amy Winehouse's grammy winning album “Back to Black “along with Slow Dance on John Legend's platinum album “Once Again“. Rain's brother Ngai (Zodiac Fishgrease) is a renowned video director whose credits include directing Nan and Shut Up by Trick Daddy and In The Club by Plies. Michael (Traxx) Bailey, No Image's music co-director, lead guitar player has performed with many R&B and Pop music icons including Earth Wind and fire, Patti LaBelle, Ben e. King, the Main Ingredient, the temptations and Frank Sinatra. He has also played on records by L L C ool J and Jimi Hendrix. Traxx has performed at numerous clubs, halls, theaters, arenas, centers and colleges including Radio City Music Hall, Jacob Javits Center, the Apollo Theater, Beacon Theater, Bonds International, Sweetwater and the 20/20 club. Perry (Keys) Johnson, No Image's music co-director, piano player and drummer, has performed with such music industry giants as Aretha Franklin, The Live Five, The Five Blind Boys,Shirley Caesar, Johnny Peeples, the Gospel Crown and the Fantastic Generations. Will (harmonica) Coleman and Patrick Wherry (Bass) and Les Paultre (rhythm guitar) are the other dynamic musicians that play with No Image. They have played with many top bands and appeared at many top clubs, halls and theaters. No Image has finished up their debut album “Don’t Fall” and already working on the next. They named themselves "No Image" because they play all kinds of music. Look for them at the top of the charts in the near future.
