James Williams,a.k.a. Faadaras is a writer,vocalist, musician come producer from jamaica now living in england, all my music is from my heart to the world Born in Spanish Town Jamaica and reaching these shores as a 12 year old to finish his schooling, Faadaras grew up during the sound system years of the seventies when he used to do what was then called toasting on the mikes of sounds like, Imperial I, Upsetters,Turbo Charge, and as a guest on Saxon,Young Lion and in Jamaica on Peoples Choice. Faadaras fronted a band Called Majestic during the 80s touring England, Scotland and Wales alongside bands such as Misty in Roots and Aswad, gaining valuable live experience. The nineties saw Faadaras on the road as part of a tour management team touring with Daddy Freddy, Shabba, Tenna Fly, Cutty Ranks and others. At the start of the millennium Faadaras from his own studio base was involved with various youth music projects training a new generation of talent as a way of giving something back to the community. As well as promoting raves featuring some of the nation’s top notch djs. After working for other people he feels he has paid his dues, gained the experience and now promotes his own brand of music. Since 2005 he has worked on his own projects putting together his first Album,De Original Roots.... with street and internet sales that worked, now finished his latest I’m Spreading Love,As well as putting his old band back together with 3 new personel he now plays gigs promoting his album..
