“Im Destined for Greatness,” Sip Entertainment, was born in the year of 1989 and the month of the Virgo, as Trevor Smith. At an early age, he found a passion for a musical society as he performed as lead singer in a trio gospel group consisted of siblings and himself. Music was important to him, because he felt that it could heal the soul, it was pure love. With artists such as Micheal Jackson, Eminem, Kanye West, Tupac, Brian Mcknight and Luthor Vandross playing a very influential role in his life, Sip began to create music that he could call his own. Living in the small town of Indianola, Ms, he grasped the world from his own perspective which lies evident in his music. Growing up with chronic asthma prevented any physical activities which is where music became the center stage of his life. As time progressed, his urge to express himself through melodic sounds led to his first mixtape to be released on www.datpiff.com, titled the Anti-Depressant. Moving to Louisiana, to attend college at Xavier University, his music career began to take flight as he performed locally at benefit shows pertaining to Haiti and Uganda. His musical accomplishments are 3rd place out of 64 MCs in the Tagged college tour, and third place in the BET college tour at Xavier Univerity of Louisiana. He have performed at Xavier University, Dillard University, University of New Orleans and many other local shows. His goal is to be a mainstream artist, but finds happiness in any opportunity that arouses. By remaining open-minded, he does not limit himself to one genre, and makes music to target a wide-variety of audiences.
