CeeKo was born Christopher Hicks to Melody Hicks in McBee S.C. on May 30th 1986. He was raised in a single parent household with his older sister. He found himself struggling to deal with the trials and tribulations of life. As the years went by he was able to find an outlet that binds everyone together “music”. He cites T.I., Jay-Z, Eminem, and Rakim to name a few as his influences. With their ability to give their lyrics a structure that would impact so many lives inspired CeeKo to do the same.
