Biography: DA Good DA Bad DA Ugly DA GOOD, DA BAD, DA UGLY (GBU) was established by Z. “Juggernaut” Norman and Dewaza “Pedigree” Cook the summer of 2004 in Jacksonville Florida. Both members of GBU contribute an array of talents that are responsible for the group’s unique style. Z. “Juggernaut “Norman is the founding member of GBU and is responsible maintaining the groups focus and while providing consistent project direction. Juggernaut is known for his lyrical creativity and respected for his artistic professionalism in and surrounding the Jacksonville area. He has also written and arranged music for other local artists. Dewaza “Pedigree” Cook is for known for his on the spot free style ability. He has a gift that is reminiscence of the late “Notorious B I G”, which means he does not write his rhymes yet prefers to create them during recording sessions or if challenged by other artists. Pedigree embodies the qualities that can be identified as an undeniable hunger, an excellent work ethic, and determination to be a long-term success in the music industry. Together Juggernaut and Pedigree have combined the talents to form the GBU. The groups name, “Da Good Da Bad Da Ugly” was chosen as a reminder of the struggles and success’ that life as an artist will bring and serve as a constant symbol of what it takes to achieve your dreams. The group has completed their first self titled project and is currently seeking to establish a long term relationship with a label that will support them and assist in the development of their careers in the music industry.
