Oloruntobi Ahmed popularly called TOBY OCTAVE a Pop Artiste and songwriter was born and raised in Lagos, Nigeria. It didn’t take long for people to notice his musical genius as he started playing musical instruments at the age of seven, he started with the drum then guitar and piano. He was a member of an accapella group called “the psalm singer’’ as the lead vocalist which won a gospel musical competition back in 2000. In 2007 he released his first single titled “Chichi” which enjoyed a huge airplay. He has worked with great producers like Puffy T, Bobby Joseph, Bothwayz, MX, etc. Presently he has two recorded albums to his credit yet to be released, a video from one of the albums titled “Wash Me’’ is currently enjoying airplay. Despite the fact that there is a high demand for the album, he said the album will be released as soon as he’s able to get a good marketing deal. TOBY is currently rated one of the most promising young performers to hit the Nigeria music scene, He’s currently an indie artiste i.e not under any record label and is open to reasonable offers. Toby, the young performer with vocal role models like JOE and Michael Jackson is extremely Nigerian but very dynamic in style.
