Bio
THE BIOGRAPHY OF IFE (THE FINEST) I started rapping at the age of 11, it all started when i registered my name for a talent haunt which took place in my school. I was the third to present my talent. I didn’t actually do that because i knew that was my talent, i did it for the sake of a reward due to the fact that the event was taking place in two days time, and there was a reward for the first three to register. So after i did this, unfortunately for me it was a prank at the delay. During my presentation on stage, i was nervous and i just stood with my two legs moving uniformly from left to right, and on hand at my back fiddling with the tip of my belt. Fear jumped into me suddenly when i forgot the last words of my rap, but one pretty word which i saw on the shoes of my senior who was a rap star in the making (flow sick) was numero which was the name of his rap partner, they were called “tha commissions”. When i mentioned it everyone watching me that knew who numero bitch was, begun screaming, till i finally dropped the microphone. After this event, numero the rapper which is recently el negro called me and asked “do you want to rap?” and i explained to him that i had a feeling when i left the stage that rapping was fun and that i would love to do more. He then told me to write some rap lines and let him have a look at it when i was through. Successfully i did it, i had little problems with the flow, but he read it out to me better than i could do like he was the one that wrote the rap lines. I was so amazed at his talent. He inspired me to do more and told me how to handle few stuffs, i felt like a star in the making with his mentor. So during my exams i would always finish before time and instead of me to cross-check my scripts, i would be writing some rap lines on my question paper which was allowed to be taken home,. Then i took it out and showed numero and i was never amazed at him reading the lines far better than me again. Then my rap name was da storm or da flame, which some friends said sounded razz and local. Numero faced his exams so i had to let go off him for a period of time. After my exams i connected with some of my friends who were going into music too, then we made an acapella song titled crazy girls which was a hit to our class mates. My stage name here was now mercury. When we saw that people liked the song . We came together and formed GREEN NEXUS Ent. We were mostly inspired by NENO BROWN Ent. which consisted flow sick, dirty-a, hoodini, dark knight, ozzy-b etc. We then went further with the song and recorded a video for it on a camcorder, which was whack and gave people the impression we can’t rap. After the holiday 3 members of the record left the school, and our parents were still in control of us to be able to reach them only through the phone. Later into the recent years with the label they were replaced with two girls and one guy. the guy was a rapper, one girl was a singer and the other did both. I later connected with rappers outside school, like s-beezy, twix (a gospel rapper) etc. I had problems of getting beats that has never been used but when i met someone that could handle it BUT he never gave me a feedback, though this same person stepped me up in my rap on how to differentiate between flosses and punchlines. During this period my mother knew about me rapping, but my father didn’t know. This was when i started making attempts to go to the studio. I finally stage named myself as IFE I had been working on my first mixtape titled AN EARDRUM ENCOUNTER WITH THE BEST. I begun following the steps of esojay luciano and flow sick. I opened up several pages for me to be able to be net wide such as reverbnation, my space, NAIJAPALS, FACEBOOK,4SHARED etc
