THE BACKGROUND PHARAOH, a Brooklyn born singer, songwriter, producer, with an original style to bring to the R&B genre'. The first sound of music to ever hit his ears was Reggae and Calypso because of his West Indian background. Moving back to America at an early age, his ears then tuned into the early stages of rap and R&B. Until the age of 16, he performed as an M.C., which really helped with his clever songwriting style. Everyone considered him a rapper until his senior year in high school where he then was asked to join a local singing quartet in his neighborhood of East New York called True Vision. The group was able to get a record deal with an independent label, R.A.M. records. Unfortunately, the group was unable to stay together and PHARAOH was convinced to try his hand at modeling. Realizing that there was unfinished business in music, he decided to dust off his mic and sing! THE FUTURE Throughout the years, PHARAOH has invested in buying studio equipment and learning to play the keyboard, bass, and guitar. The songs on this current demo showcase his unique ability to sing about love lost and love gain and various other topics. He mixes a perfect blend of traditional R&B, Hip Hop, and Dancehall/Reggae flavor. The world is finally ready for him to bless the sound waves with his message of love....
