P-Zo, as nicknamed by one of his closest cousins Geno, is a young lyricist with a unique vocal ability! His untrained singing sits between a lead singer and a backing vocalist. His rapping style naturally has a laid back stature, dubbed the ‘Rapper with a Twist’ in News Weekly Magazine of August ‘06. Since achieving a Top 40 Position in Australian Idol 2006, current followers have already accepted the brilliance in his look and unique talent. Writing all of his own music, wordplay is said to be his main focus as a singing lyricist. “To me, music Is all about how it sounds, so when I write, that’s my focus, how to make it sound hot!” Free-styling isn’t the strong point in this scenario, but there is a hunger to learn this aspect while mastering his talent, which adds another promising weapon to the future artillery. “No matter how good you may THINK you are, there is always someone who feels they are better! You can only SHOW them otherwise.” Being in the recording game only a little over 2 years the 23 year old has made some incredible progress thus far without major help. To name a few highlights, ECKO Unlimited Australia accepted P-Zo to be sponsored for his first video clip, ‘Ride or Dance.’ Followed by partnership/Promotion of the #1 Urban Website in Australia, StadiumMusic.net, while also being hand picked by beat extraordinaire Ron Browz (produced for the likes of 50 Cent, DMX, Ludacris, Nas, Big L, Jae Millz and many more) to record with. P-Zo has earned respect throughout Perth, Australia, and is continuing to single-handedly expand his fan base worldwide. Currently maintaining his own movement known as ‘Project Hype,’ his tailored genres of music, P-Zos system is to locate the Platinum Tracks through an EP release process while congruently writing music with other upcoming artists. “I have managed to gather the faith of the TOP people in the hip hop/R&B scene in Perth, and that is amazingly motivating!”
